Mark’s journey began at age eleven, crafting simple cutting boards and furniture in his home woodshop. Those early projects laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for design, prototyping, and manufacturing. Driven by curiosity, he set out to learn every skill possible so he could bring any idea in his mind to life. Along the way, he developed a deep, hands-on understanding of tools and technologies such as 3D printing, CNC machining, robotics, and digital fabrication.

Mark earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Iowa State University, where he developed projects such as an electric snowboard designed to travel up the slopes, not down them. Today, his focus is on designing, developing, and prototyping products with the user at the center of every decision.
