Mitch Schaffer

Human Factors Engineer

Mitch strives to understand how a product’s design influences its use, learnability, and safety. While working on his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa, he designed, analyzed, and influenced systems from university websites to educational surgical simulators and wearable ergonomic devices. He has also lead research in muscle fatigue and endurance modeling and is a published author in the Journal of Industrial Ergonomics. Mitch loves to get outdoors and is always ready to try new things!
