Recently Tom KraMer, President of Kablooe Design, guest lectured to a group of k-12 educators taking an Engineering Design course at the University of St. Thomas. Tom shared with them some design and engineering realities like,

“Where do ideas come from?”

“What is innovation?”

“What do you do after you have an idea – next steps?”

“Who is involved?”

“How do all the teams work together?”

This informative lecture led the educators through the Design Driven Development process, pointing out the pitfalls of taking shortcuts, and the benefits of a good holistic design effort. Tom encouraged the students by conveying his passion that they were the hope for innovation in the future.
